Support
DupeFont identifies the typography in an image and ranks the closest free, openly licensed look-alikes. If something is wrong or you have a question, we'd like to hear about it.

Reporting a wrong match
Matches are visual estimates, not identifications: DupeFont finds free fonts that look like the type in your image, and it does not claim to name the original. If a result looks wrong, the fastest way to tell us is the “Was this right?” prompt shown beneath any image result — it attaches the match we produced so we can reproduce it. You can also email us a description, or a share link if you created one.
The DupeFont app for ChatGPT
The app connects ChatGPT to the same matching service that powers this site. If it stops responding in a chat, check the website first: if matching works here, the problem is with the connection rather than the matcher, and reconnecting the app in ChatGPT usually clears it. Tell us either way.
The Similar Font Finder plugin for Figma
The Figma plugin uses the same matching service. If a swap changed something you didn't want, use Undo (Ctrl+Z or ⌘Z) in Figma: each swap is one undo step. If the plugin can't reach us, it says so; check that Figma is online and try again. To report a wrong match, tell us the font you were replacing and the one we suggested.
Licensing questions
Every match shows the licence we hold for that font. We report what the font's own metadata says; where a font ships without usable licence metadata we show its licence as unknown rather than guess. Always check the licence that ships with a font before using it in a product.
